Kaua'i Labor Day State Race Official Rules

​

Bike Classes

  • Gas-powered bikes only in standard classes — no electric bikes, unless entered in the Electric Class. EXCEPTION Pit bike Class

  • Electric Class — for electric bikes only.

  • Age divisions are determined as of January 1, 2026.

 

Tracks

  1. Mini Track — Mini Electric Bikes

  2. Small Track — 50cc and under, pit bikes, electric bikes, and beginner riders

  3. Big Track — 65cc and up, with a flat track paved section within the big track

 

Bike Numbers

  • All bikes must have numbers on the front plate and side plates.

  • If your bike is not numbered, please have it numbered before race day.

 

Wristbands

  • Upon entering the race, you will be given either a Spectator or MX Racer wristband.

  • No wristband = you will be asked to leave the premises or pay the spectator gate fee.

  • Kid racers may give one parent a spectator wristband.

 

Gate Fee (Spectators)

  • Gate fee: $5 per person

  • Kids 10 & under: free

  • Gates open: 6:30 AM

 

Racer Check-In & Schedule

  • Racer check-in: 7:00 AM – 7:50 AM sharp

  • Riders meeting: 8:00 AM

  • Practice laps: 8:15 AM – 8:45 AM
